Real estate investment information?
I’m 20 years old and I’m looking for sources of information for buying real estate properties and renting them out. I’ve read many books and purchased many programs on the subject, but am looking for the complete deal. With subjects such as insurance, property management companies, loans, etc… I need a really technical resource with not a lot of fluff. The real meat and potatoes of the business. Thanks for the help.
Where do you find a mentor?

The real estate market is starting to take a dive. What would be a good profession for myself to go into?
I have been in the real estate market for about 7 years. I started as a Loan Coordinator, then credit officer/assoc. underwriter, call center manager, Product manager. The market is slowly disappearing, I’m unemployed now. I think I should try another field, maybe Financial planning. I don’t know if this market is already saturated, with other fellow real estate professionals. The market is only going to get worse, what should I do?

A playwright once said that we must beware of false knowledge because it is more dangerous than ignorance. How true. When it comes to real estate investing or REI, wrong information is not only dangerous, it could also cause your bankruptcy.
Knowing this, we should practice with caution whenever searching for information about REI on the Internet. Who knows if the information you’re reading was just made up by some Internet user who had too much time to waste. That is why nothing beats attending seminars of experts themselves and reading their books. But let’s admit it. Such kinds of training and seminars do not happen everyday. If you live far from the city, it’s most likely that that seminar will not reach your area. Let’s say the wind blows real estate investing experts to your county. The next question would be, “Would I be able to afford this event?”
