Hi, I am trying to buy a property that is going to a foreclosure auction. The thing is I want to buy the proprety before it even hits the court auction. Should I get a lawyer of my own or deal directly with the plantiff’s lawyer?
Are you aware that it is a bidding process? I would get someone who knows how to handle this type of transaction, whether it be a real estate attorney, or a Realtor knowledgable in auctions. You could deal direct, but it sounds like you need guidance and you won’t get it from the plantiffs lawyer.
I think we can all agree, the real estate market is in a real state of flux right now. The volatility that the housing sector is experiencing need not be cause for too much concern, that is to say if you are a savvy real estate professional, or real estate investor. No, quite the contrary, the real estate market is ripe with great opportunity if one knows how to exploit the great potential for profit that exists in real estate today.
who knows any details on how to make a short sale ? I have properties that I can get cash out from to purchase other properties during this decline in property values and I heard about shor sales but have no idea as to the details if you know I would appreciate it Thank you
Short Sales are when the mortgage company allows you to sell the property for less then is owed. This is an approved program thru the mortgage company. So, you will need to contact them in order to qualify. You can not just sell the house less then what is owed w/o mortgage company approval.
